I would like to let you know that there are several upcoming events that the Lake County Sheriff’s Association is hosting.

Raffle:

Raffle tickets are $10 each (500 tickets total) Grand Prize: 20 gun Tactical Safe, Second Prize: 2 tickets to the 2017 NHL Winter Classic Game, Third Prize: $100 cash. Drawling will be held on December 10th during the general meeting.

Shop with a Sheriff will be on December 6th and will take place at the Target in Mundelein starting at 6pm. To avoid any risk of injury the children will meet us at Target this year. Any members wanting to help with the event please contact me at lcsa9400@gmail.com. (Anyone helping needs to be at Target at 5pm)

Elections and General Meeting:

We have open elections for all positions within the sheriff’s association (for qualified members). The elected positions are President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sgt at Arms. The current vacant positions are 2nd Vice President and Secretary. If you are interested in running for a position or have any questions please feel free to email me at lcsa9400@gmail.com.

Nominations must be submitted to lcsa9400@gmail.com by Dec. 2nd.

Elections will take place on December 10th from 2:00- 6:00 pm at Lakes Bowl 601 Railroad Ave Round Lake, IL. Voting will be from 2:00 – 5:30 pm. During the elections bowling will be open to all members and their families.

This will also be our last general meeting of 2016.

2015/2016 Election Results

As a result of the December 6th elections, the following members have been elected to the executive board of the Lake County Sheriff’s Association.  All positions will be instated January 1st for a term of 2 years.

Congratulations to the new and returning board members.  Contact information for the executive board will be made available to the membership in a future mailing.

General Meeting and Officer Elections!

Join us on Saturday, December 6th one hour before the Family Christmas party for a brief general membership meeting and President elections.

Nominations for the 2015 through 2016 offices were made at the October general meeting and all offices were unopposed with the exception of the position of President.  Running for the office will be Wendell Russell and Mark Vice.  Voting will be open from 2:00 pm at the start of the general meeting to the close of the days events, around 5:00 pm.

While we’re at it, don’t forget to sign up your children for the Christmas Party!  You can do so right here!
